i read somewhere in reddit that todou comeback was actually hinted before. when yuta was about kill kenjaku from behind bubt kenjaku anticipate that attack and suddenly we saw yuta again behind kenjaku and killing them. we thought that yuta was fast enought to overcome kenjaku speed but someone said that in that panel there was a splash sound effect written in the panel and thus todou might have swapped places between yuta and anything or anyone that was behind kenjaku

Even as a big gojo fan, full strength sukuna > full strength gojo. Ik sukuna relied a lot on mahoraga in the fight but he also wasnt fully incarnated. Given how even they were with Megumi's body, gojo would likely have lost during the domain clashes if sukuna had the extra arms and mouth to boost his stats. Todo found a new pathway for Boogie woogie's activation. Whether by Binding Vow or 538k brain epiphany or Black Flash pathways. Personally, i think Gege is just showcasing another charcater with the ingenuity of Sukuna in regards to thier CE and Binding Vows with Todo being the most logical choice. The only binding vow afaik on the technique is what allows Todo to give up target count for target range. It is a drawback, but its stacked in Todo's favor from the start. If we saw Todo just be able to do rapid slaps, we'd be a bit less confused. That alone is a busted application of it. Next chapter having him reveal the Binding Vow after a few rapid Woogies in this chapter might be a bit more clear. Im starting to think his IQ really is 538K though

The way I understood Todo's binding vow's was that he "could" swap 50 times in 1 second due to the fact that a vibraslap doesn't just "clap" it vibrates, so one pounding of the ball would lead to 50 collisions in under a second, due to the vibrations. But since he placed a binding vow on it to limit the number of times he could swap per second to the amount of times he was able to "clap" the ball against the wood, he did effectively limit an aspect of his technique by a LOT. Still an insane upgrade from his previous boogie woogie, even with the binding vow, but he used that limitation to increase how many targets he could swap at once as well as its effect range. So in my eyes, the binding vow makes sense.
